Alireza Kazemipour’s 14-minute short film has been accepted for screening at the International Competition program of the Spanish event’s 7th edition.
The film is the story of a girl who has taken an inappropriate path in her life and gets visitors at home.
But suddenly things start to change for her when a woman walks into her life.
‘The Blue Bed’ has been showcased at a number of global events and won some awards, including the Best Directing award at the 10th Vancouver Short Film Festival in Canada.
The film has also received three nominations at the 2020 Leo Awards in Canada, including the Best Screenwriting Short Drama, Best Direction Short Drama, and Best Short Drama.
The Mirada Tabu film festival accepts works that celebrate the unique and mysterious concept of ‘taboo’ which is diverse and cultural.
This year’s edition of the event, that will host international films from countries such as France, Belgium, Italy, Australia, Austria, Cuba, Iran, is slated for December 9-19.
